I started today by spot filling the obvious low spots, however I used a sanding block to contour them down but ended up creating a deep groove from the corner of the block. It will be an ez fill but it goes to show that you really have to consider everything that's happening while performing even the simplest of tasks. However, the first rounds of Primer did wonders for exposing the low spots. Also, knowing that after sanding down this round of primer I may very well be ready for the final coat. This brought to mind that I need to lay down my final tape line on the canopy that will determine the canopy to primer/paint transition. I removed all of the tape, but I wasn't patient enough to let the primer cure so as I removed the tape, some spots of primer came off along with it. This of course doesn't really matter since I'll be sanding it down and prepping a new line anyways, but it's good to know that I should wait for a full cure on the next one. No second chances for the next one.
