So I spent the whole day contouring and re-filling the strake leading edges and went to sand a certain spot and it pulled off the skin and was all mushy. I've seen this before but only when I didn't use enough filler. I removed what I could then added more. I then went back to contour this and more filler came out. REAL weird. I finally was able to remove everything soft but it will need another round. The only thing I can think of is that it wasn't mixed long enough, however by color it was. Strange. One more good reason to skim coat. Moving on, I sanded both intakes to a good shape and they are now ready to be glassed over. I just need to get a buddy to help me take this canopy off.....i miss my wife :(
