Brief Description:  Console sanding and interior fill

I made the decision that with 3 inches of snow outside it was the perfect day to knock out some of the really annoying filler work. I would have extended cure times due to cooler temps and that's exactly what I want when cramped up inside spots that i'd rather not spend sanding later. The more I contour the filler now, the less work later. Well I started my morning by sanding down the consoles . Boy it's gonna be nice doing touch up work on these rather than the whole thing when installed. After blowing out all of the white filler dust onto the snow outside...:)... I shut the garage and prepped for filler.
I chose the 2 most annoying spots to start with. I love when the job gets easier so I wanted to knock these out first. I spread Dry Micro in a rounded contour onto the leading edge inside both strakes as well as along all the glass lines. I then added a thick bead of triangle micro concealing the cabin light and elt cable conduits (NylaFlow). I then moved on to the passenger headrest area. yuck! So many nooks, crannies, and angles. I'm positive I'll have to hit this area twice if I want to hide all the humps and bumps but the first round is always the most annoying. I also glassed the foam triangles with 1 ply bid prior to adding the micro to the corners. End goal here is to conceal all the conduit, fuel lines and wires with smooth lines and angles.
I will say, it's really nice seeing the interior in ANYTHING but that boring brown I've been staring at for 2 years! :)
