Still waiting for my girlfriend, Z-Grip, to arrive, I added another round of dry micro to the low spot that showed up after block sanding today. I also decided the second skim coat was ready for me so I gave it a whirl, this time including the winglet. I noticed something a couple days ago when the aileron was mounted that bothered me. The guy before me doesn't know what the term "90 degrees" meant and affectively cut the aileron out a poor angle on the inboard edge. This means I will have to add material to the aileron which means more weight, UGH, and trim the wing to match. Right now I am just hoping for a balanced aileron. Cosmetically it's not TOO bad, however, it creates a problem geometrically so it had to be fixed. After tonight, the last skim coat (If needed) will be after all finess fill and shaping has been completed.
Note: I was committed to spending more time contouring filler than I did on the other wing and I can already tell it's going to pay off big time when it comes to sanding primer.
