Brief Description:  wet sand test

Well believe it or not I got a couple runs after this last run of epoxy primer. I do have to say though, that the black primer was thicker than the grey. For example; I could reduce the black up to 20% and avoid runs if I sprayed it fast. The grey however, would run with only 10% which is what I used for the black. I've decided that the perfect setup is as follows:

5% reducer
1.8mm tip
Needle 1 full turn out from closed.

This worked well for both black and grey.

So anyways I got runs. I watched a youtube video of a custom paint shop taking a paint stick, wrapping it in 600 grit and wet sanding the high spot down flush. Worked great for me. I decided to put some 600 grit on a foam block and test a larger area and found it's going to take some time to get the orange peel down. The orange peel came from the black layer underneath when not using reducer after seeing runs. I can say this wing is my bootcamp for the rest of the plane :)
Easy fix, she will be ready in no time.
