More progress tonight as I peeled off the 3M painters tape which in turn "broke" off the filler at the line intended for it to meet the plexiglass. I then re-taped the line and sanded the filler down to a smooth feathered edge where it met the new tape line. I then began knocking down high spots and edges throughout until I could start fine sanding all over. I have now reached the point where I am almost finished removing as much filler as possible, Identifying low areas. These areas will soon be filled and sanding will continue. Good news is I may start painting as soon as next week!!! stay tuned...
