Brief Description:  Interior Paint

Obviously it's a bit early to start painting the interior but if I'm trying to match the seat upholstery to the paint then I'll need to decide what I'll be using soon. Now I'm having a hard time justifying paint that 160 a gallon and a paint shop setup that will cost me a grand so my research has led to 3 great products. #1 Hammerite and #2 Rustoleum and #3 Minwax Polycrylic Clear. I haven't used the Hammerite yet since it's a mail order only kind of product but I tried Rustoleum and Valspar with better results from Rustoleum. 3 coats then in 2 days I'll scuff to 320 and clear coat with the Minwax for the protection. Now what I'm hoping for is a scratch resistant smooth Satin finish and if these 3 products can do it for me then I will have saved hundreds or thousands otherwise. Just looking for an easy to apply, clean, and fix kind of paint system and so far my test results are promising. I've also decided on the 3 interior colors as long as they match the sheepskin samples that are coming in the mail for my seats. More on this later.
