Well as much as I want it to, Floxed JB Weld won't cut it for peace of mind, so I grinded it all off and decided to head over to my buddy Matt's house for a lesson in TIG welding. I spent a while practicing then had the trim tab bracket TIG welded up to the elevator torque tube. Boy do I have a lot of respect for guys that can TIG weld a perfect bead. What an ART! I had to go slow and in small sections to keep from overheating the tube for fear that the heat would transfer to the foam and glass. All is well and she's ready for flight.
