The previous builder must have forgotten his glasses when measuring the canard tips as they are as much as 1/4" off from each other. The plans show 5" for each so I will be re-shaping the short one to match the other. (thank God he got one right). I roughly carved a piece of brown foam (love this stuff) and applied slurry to the contact side and then dry micro to fill any gaps underneath. After it hardens I'll begin contouring and shaping and then adding a layer of bid or two.
