Brief Description:  Passenger air vent hardware and install

Before installing the passenger air vent I went ahead and added filler to the surrounding glass as I didn't want to run the risk of sanding the vent base during the fill process. After getting this all sanded down I scuffed the backplate of the Aveo Maxi vent and bonded it inside the seatback with 5 minute micro. After a good cure I then pressed the ducting over the backplate and sealed it with more 5 minute micro. It was a really cramped place to work so it looks really ugly. However this area will be closed off to all judging eyes :) A seal was imperative to avoid leaky drafts.
After this process was finished I cut out 2 pieces of blue foam to fill both openings in the roll over structure. The circular one got a total of 4 plies BID because soon it will be used to hold the passengers IPad Mini or "EFIS" and the mount will need to be good and stuff. The other part got 1 ply BID only on the front side. Peel plied up and later will come filler.
