Brief Description:  Consoles, foot rests, thigh support and brackets

The throttle cable bracket was carefully placed in just the right spot on the pilot console with 5 min epoxy. After cure I took this time to layup 1 ply Bid on both fuel line brackets as well as the throttle bracket to ensure a more robust structure.
I then routed out every console cutout where foam would be exposed and susceptible to abuse and filled the trench with dry micro and added peel ply. I'm using West systems on these small jobs because of their location and not having the need for high levels of strength.
After sitting in the back seat of my friends long ez it became obvious that my feet were never comfortable lacking a foot rest so I decided to go ahead and make a couple. Step one is glassing the back side with 1 ply BID. They will most likely get 2 or 3 plies on the forward face depending on how stiff they turn out.
Finally I decided to add a vertical barrier around the fuel selector valve do to the fact that Oregon Aero SUCKS at making a seat the correct dimesions and my fear is that the oversized seat may slide forward and contact the selector valve. The barrier will keep the seat in place and away from the valve but it will be REAL FUN jamming it into that small space. I refuse to send them back to Oregon Aero and allow them to screw them up again.... ok I'm done. ;)
