Brief Description:  Nose Tidy up

The biggest concern of the day was tackling that pesky rudder cable clearance issue. I really didn't want to resort to glasswork so I split and squeezed the wire bundles down as tight as they would go under adels and then zip tied them even tighter. Combing them out proved to help and I was able to achieve a 1/16" clearance from the rudder cables on either side. However, being this close I will be adding section of Nylaflow tubing to the panel bulkhead extending out over the wire bundles to make sure that no wear will happen. Glad that job is done. I've thought of ways to avoid this issue entirely but it would require either moving the cable/bulkhead entry point further over or running all the vertical wire bundles AHEAD of the rudder pedals. Both options have negatives that far outweigh the method I just used so would I do it again? Yep.
Next, I'm having big issues with the Speed brake motor working under the VPX Flap section. It DOES NOT like the internal limit switches and throws all kinds of error codes up on the VPX screen. The manual states that the VPX does NOT support internal limit switches even though they emailed me and said the speed brake on a long ez would work??!!! I'm sure it has to do with motors that send feedback to the VPX which mine does NOT. I will be hearing from them tomorrow but in the meantime I've already started moving power pins around to use it as a standard switched item. If they tell me how to configure the flaps then It will be easy to switch back, otherwise It's almost ready to rock.
Finally I replaced all the zip ties, cleaned up and will move toward the back of the EZ tomorrow :)
