Having no plans to go by, I am pleasantly surprised at my results. This is the first time I bolted everything up and everything is dead on! The actuator I am using will allow full deployment at 125kts instead of 95kts that the plans call for as long as my load tests come out well. For now, the actuator has internal limit switches that stop the motion at full extended and retracted and NOT when too much load is applied. This means that I have to bolt up everything exactly where it needs to be or I could damage fiberglass under load. Great news is I got a Totally flush closed position and a strong 60 degree or more open position. She is now ready for fiberglass and a cover.
