Brief Description:  Fitting the canopy hinges

The Canopy Hinges for some time now had me concered. They cost $10 a piece and I was able to bend them under load while opening the canopy once. They were sold as 304 Stainless Steel but they looked cheaply cast. So I had a good friend of mine take the CAD drawing and cut new ones out of a Titanium Block. These are amazing! However, either the SS hinge was off or his CNC machine was because the mounting holes were off by about 1mm. I took the next largest Bit I had over 1/4" and opened all the holes up. Now the hinge lays flat and the screws fall in where they need to. Glad that one in done.
Next since the canopy was removed I filled in all the hardware gaps with a real wet flox. This should give a much better hardpoint so I can start using them. The Locking Ball pins should be here anyday and I'm excited to install them and call this canopy structurally complete. If I'm honest I'm not looking forward to finishing the outside. Every time I have to sand so close to that lexan it freaks me out. :)
