So that slight wave in the glass where I "fixed" the deep scratch keeps stairing at me and it's really getting anoying, so I decided to tackle it once and for all. Being VERY careful not to remove too much material I sanded the surrounding area about 4" all around with a process that took me from 600 grit wet sand paper all the way up to 3000 grit and then the Novus 3-2-1 polish. After 1.5 hrs and really not much effort I can finally say the scratch is COMPLETELY Gone. Now the trade off is that a larger section of glass was sanded down and "might" distort the light a little, but that will be seen later on when the airframe gets to go outside. Either way, better sleep at night for now :)
