Placing the hinges in their ideal position, I measured 16" between the 2 and cut out a rectangle board that would serve as a guide during intallation. After drilling out 4 holes in the longerons to accomidate the nutplates I set the assembly in place and moved the hinges through their 45 degree motion to confirm the absence of any binding. Smooth motion gave me the green light to build up a flox bed for the hardpoints. The assembly will sit in this position until the flox bed cures. I will then lay up 3 plies of BID over the nut plates.... tomorrow :)
