I added the final layer of discoat underneath and decided to trial fit it to the fuselage. Using the original mounting tabs, I was able to modify them for the oversized canopy and get a really good fit. I put myself and the wife inside and BOY is there a lot more room. MUCH Better! I'm pleased with the result so the next step will be adding the foam and glass.... here we go.
