Brief Description:  Trimmed, cleaned, and coated

Got my HF rotary tool, finished the cut and then boohoo. I guess Duct tape doesn't like departing Lexan or plexiglass. I found that mineral spirits clean up the canopy VERY well, while not damaging the glass at all so after 1.5 hrs I had all spots and goo removed. I then sanded the edges of the canopy with 320 grit and did a final wipe in prep for the Discoat 4220 coating. Discoat recommends 4 coats but I was able to lay down 2 thick coats and only use half the bottle. (saving the rest for the underside). When I peel off the areas to be worked on, if it seems too thin I'll add another. For now it will dry overnight.

Note: I ordered 10 yards of Carbon Fiber BID! Canopy, turtle deck, and cowl will all be pure Carbon Fiber :) Tough stuff.
