I've opted for SS instead of aluminum for many reasons, however, this means that I need to make it right the first time. SS is a pain to work with so I'm making an aluminum template first. The previous builder had already cut out the main lines so it was a great headstart for me. I bolted it up, and unbolted it probably 15 times in order to add all the necessary holes needed. In fact there are more yet to be made, however I need to install the engine to find exactly where. I've also solved an issue that was bothering me for a long time, holding up this process that concerns the extrusions. I'll elaborate when the hardware arrives. For now, the bulk of the template is done. More work on the strakes tomorrow.
