Brief Description:  Extrusions floxed and bolted in

Today is a milestone in that many things had to wait in order for this step to be completed. 12 of the 16 bolts were installed into the extrusion on a bed of Flox/ Glass where they are now permanently installed. The Engine mount was bolted to the extrusions prior to torqing down the bolts in order to get a better position during cure. The reason the final 4 bolts were not installed was due to fact that these bolts block access to the engine mount bolts and must be installed after the mount is permanently put in place which will be after the firewall is complete. I was also able to add up the number of correct washers and bolt lengths for the final install and ordered them through ACS. Fresh nuts and bolts are always best.
In moving towards the firewall work, I thought it would be a good time to start planning it out. I grabbed my fuel pumps, measured lengths, installed all the hardware I had and am now beginning to see where everything will end up. Still this airplane is very tight and not much room will be left on the firewall when finished.
A good day.
