Well, well. Looky what we have here. A wet sanding that was a bit premature but workable and 3 light coats of primer for virtually complete coverage. I didn't think I'd have this primer on her today so it's a pleasant surprise. Of course if I had "expected" it to be done it would have been a disaster right? :) I think I have enough build thickness to wet sand using 320 grit and get a good even surface without breaking through, but I do see a couple areas that will need some light touch up due to pin holes so it's not a problem. I also have to spray the edge of the longerons when the canopy is removed so she hasn't seen the last of the primer quite yet :) Heck I might even get away with brushing it on :) So you know what this means.......the firewall finishing and engine install begins...NOW.
