Fabricated rib profile spreaders (2) from 1/4" plywood, pattern slightly larger than rib profile tapering out from nose at 0 to approx 1/4" wider at aft rib edge - to spread tank skin slightly while lowering rib into tank. Fabricated rib stiffener plates (2) from plywood and two #10 bolts and wing nuts - sitffens ribs while initial setting of rib into position in tank; able to tap tail end of rib with shot filled dead blow hammer to set rib down to leading edge and align rivet holes for clecoing.
One spreader per rib adequate for each rib install positioned at mid-point of rib bay; set rib, install one cleco top and bottom skin near leading edge, then remove spreader.
