Brief Description: Truing the fuselage with custom clamp
Thanks to Tony B. for this idea for making a truing clamp. A length of allthread is fitted with two curved clamps at either end. The length of the all thread has to be long enough to go from opposite longerons on the diagonal. Half a dozen or so of these clamps would have been plenty to hold things in position. I made two and used them several times. I will make more on the second plane. They work great. The curved piece at the end needs to be tempered as tightening will cause them to deform. Sure looks good when the bob is over the centerline though.
