Hinges for the trim tab are based on the same design as the elevator and rudder hinges. The trim tab hinges are about 1/3 the size of the elevator hinges. I saw on a Waco how the hinges actually have an insert that looks like some sort of polymer. These will be metal to metal and lubricated.
