Using a square I would mark the top of the arc that would become the fishmouth. This mark was then matched up with the teeth on the joint jigger. I had to cut a few practice pieces to establish where the teeth of the joint jigger actually start cutting.
Notice silver centerline on tube. These markers were OK.
