Brief Description:  Completion of engine & instruments

Completed the engine, cowling, avionics, & instrument panel work. All final trimming of cowling and fasteners done. Installed a naca scoop for oil tank cooling, but may change that later. Trimmed spinner to fit cowl. Finished most electrical runs, connections, and service loops on the panel. Finished all the throttle, carb heat, cabin heat, and mixture control cables. Installed Molex connectors at the trim tab. Secured all fuel, oil, engine sensors, and electrical wiring in engine compartment. Finished most of the engine baflling and sealed with Permatex Ultra-Black RTV sealant. All of this work was done with the help of Curtiss Schutzberg of South Texas Aviation, a builder-assist service in La Porte TX. I moved the plane to Bailes Field in Angleton, TX where I will begin the final assembly.
