Manual Reference:  06-03
Brief Description:  Vertical Stab spar and rib assembly

Todays first task was to put a radius on the nose rib for the vertical stab. This is done to prevent the metal from cutting into the skin of the stab.

More fluting and finally assembly to do more final drilling.

It now becomes apparent why it takes so many hours to build an airplane. You actually put things together 2-3 times in order to drill, debur, clean, etc.

Steps completed today 6-8

Lessons Learned today:

1. Time to order a GoPro with voice command. Impossible to take selfies with a phone while trying to build the plane and there's not always another person around.
