Brief Description: Preparing HS Parts for Assembly Part 4
Finished prep'ing all of the HS substructure parts (finally). Now they just need to be cleaned and primed. After that, trialed the removing of blue vinyl along all of the rivet lines of the skins. Used a ruler and marked 1/2" either side. Then used the dull tip on my soldering iron to run along the lines lightly. My plan is to lightly scuff along the lines as well as lightly scuff the inside of the skins. I will then clean and prime inside and outside (along the lines). This will provide the best protection to both sides of the skins where each rivet lies.
