Brief Description:  Tail plane trial fit

Today I reattached the tail plane to the fuselage (whilst the aircraft is levelled for rigging). I set the tailplane incidence at 2.5 degrees (1 degree more than the wing incidence). This was the general concensus from the Biplane Forum discussion as a good place to start. The forward adjustment is done by washers and 16 were required to achieve the correct incidence. This seems too many so I will cut a bush from 4130 steel and reduce this to 5 washers for adjustment.
Trial fitted the tail bracing wires. These are the stainless steel brace wires from Bruntons (sourced through Steen Aero Lab). Each thread had to be cut down (I think they supply them slightly longer to account for any anomalies). All went well until the last brace. I accidentally cross-threaded a fitting and didn't realise until too late. Need to get a replacement. This is my first major oops on the project but easily fixed (even if a little costly!)
