Some of the built-up ribs interfere with the drag wires. This is apparently normal so each rib where clearance is not more than 1/8", a groove was filled into the 1/4" spruce and then a backing spruce capstrip was glued on to add strength to the area. This had to be done at rib stations 35, 68 and 101 for both the left and right wings.
