I have seen others use dimple tables but these would take up a lot of space. As I already have a work table I thought of submerging the dimple tool into the table. My inspector said this would not be very flexible and suggested making four portable supports - wood with carpet on to match the height of the bottom dimple die. The measurements that work with the avery tool are 52mm of wood and 8 mm carpet, or variations of. I also added a support on the tool itself using duct tape coated screws as locators into the existing holes. Thanks Gary - I now have a very flexible system that takes up very little space.
See Image 2 two months later in action. They ARE very flexible and work a treat.
