Brief Description: Drilling WD-808 Seatback Support 3
It strikes me that the rear screw should be replaced by a rivet due to edge distance. However, you can't because Vans have predrilled the #19 holes - even worse they don't match the weldment 1/8" holes! See the image I borrowed from Jeffs site of the supplied spacer and then the drilled spacer.
However, drawing 72 "Detail A" and "F-856-1 Spacers" do not show these holes. My opinion is that they should not be there and I have written an email to Van's.
Even detail A shows the edge distance problem of the rear screw hole!
