The instructions on my water based primer say it should be kept at 25 deg C to prolong the shelf life and make it easier to apply. As leaving it in the house would not best please my lovely lady I asked for ideas on the RV Forum how to use a thermostat with a light bulb; the main one that came back was use a fridge with the light and thermostat inside. After some thinking I didn't use a fridge in the end as it would take up too much space so I used a surplus to requirements cool box . It's simple, its neat and it appears to work. Parts:
Bi-metallic thermostat Open 25degC (From RS Components - 228 2563 - £2.50), Surface mount lamp holder - £1 Scrap plywood, 2 x bolts, mains plug, wire and socket ( from an old hifi I was chucking away which keeps it neat).
