This system appeared good value to me and the 7 year servicing cost looked entirely reasonable.
You can wire into an EFIS but I prefer not to have all my eggs in one basket so I made my own 2 1/4" panel mount for the test and warning light and wired it into the Intercom. Pre test before flight and hopefully, like insurance, I won't need it!
The 2 1/4" cut out is so that if Flight Data Systems go out of buisness I can fit a standard panel CO monitor.
