Brief Description: Electrics Progress - POWER ON NO SMOKE!
Major milestone. Powered up the electrical system and no smoke or blown fuses :-)
The only minor thing that took a little while to resolve, which showed up my limited electrical knowledge, was that an LED to indicate the power to the Essential Bus from the Hot Bus lit but the relay did not operate. I changed the relay but same thing. Bypassed the LED and the relay worked.
Lesson learned - don't wire LED in series with coil of relay!
Tidied up the wiring and fitted the pitot static using quick disconnect fittings from Cole Parmer. Expensive but already they have proven how easier maintenance behind the panel will be.
