Surprisingly the MGL EFIS does not have an audio volume control and as my audio mixer does not have volume pots I needed to purchase a volume pot.
Searching the MGL Users forum the advice was to install a 500 ohm pot. I located an RAF part on eBay but wasn't sure how to wire it so the diagram below helped me on that score.
I have located it on the electric panel tray so the pot screw is just under the panel. Once I have set the balance I shouldn't have to alter it again. Once I have an ohm value through the pot I could then buy a resistor and hardwire it in if I have any issues with the pot in the future.
