I alodined and primed the area around the DME antenna hole and when I fitted it with the provided cork gasket there was slight gap at the forard and aft end.
The instructions say to fill any gaps with RTV. Hoever, I am flying first before painting so I spoke to my painter and he said DON'T use RTV.
Spoke to my inspector and he suggested using some scrap baffle rubber. So armed with a Stanley knife and a heavy dute trouser belt punch I made a rubber gasket.
Sorry about the poor photo but the net result was it worked a treat.
