The cowls must be fitted before you start.

Recommend reading Tony Bingelis On Engines - Baffle Section

In addition to 0-360 BAFFLE KIT recommend following for Oil Cooler:

* Brace oil cooler (for me cooler bolt to #4 cylinder) - additonal bracing
* Screw to secure brace to # 4 cylinder
* 8 x AN970-3 large washers to spread load of oil cooler spacers - cooler flange very soft
* Two wire Ignition Harness Pass through (P-Mag - 0.375") - Aircraft Spruce (ACS) 2 x part No 07-01014 (fasteners provided in baffle kit)
* If you fit the Vans oil cooler vent you will need 2 x An3-45 (44's were way too expensive) for the outboard flange, a C-740 Cable, #3 p-clip and AN3-4A bolt/screw/washer/nut

PLANS - 0-360 OP40 dated 12/4/06 - SUGGESTIONS

Take these instructions with a heavy pinch of salt and use as a GUIDE. Think your way through and not follow blindly and you'll be fine.

Page 3 - Ignore Step 3 to fit 705B - do this when oil cooler is positioned AFTER baffles trimmed as on the 8 you trim A LOT of that part of the baffles.

Cleco as much as you can DELAY riveting until as late as you can.

I have the Aero Sport Power I0-360M2S - I plan to bring fuel servo/flow divider up through the vent screen hole on CB-707A Right Aft Case Baffle. I required AN823-4D to fit to divider to align hose easier and AN931-10-14 rubber grommet. Moved cabin heat vent screen to CB-710A fwd Right Air Ramp
