The mounting requiremnt of the oil valve is to have the centre fitting level with the sump screen fitting (D in previous post) and the Oil Separator should be 10" from the centreline and as high as possible.
As with most things FWF it gets a bit tight if you have a forward battery location.
I fitted some stiffeners for the oil separator on the rear of the firewall in the forward baggage compartment.
The chosen area of the oil valve location was quite stiff and as there was a moderate surface area of the mount I left that without stiffening.
