The only problem I could see with the location is that to safety wire the locking ring I would need to remove the left cabin console, which would take some time due to the fitment of rear rudder pedals/seat ramp/fuel selector etc.
To solve this I made an access door at the rear of the console so I can use a bowl below to drain the gascolator and wire lock/locate the locking ring from above.
