I plan to sell JBTR later this year as I have ticked all the boxes I want to tick and it was always part of the retirment plan plus RV-s in the UK are fetching a good price.
However before I sell up I want to enter into the British Aerobatic Association (BAeA) Sports class competition as I last did so 35 years ago! I think that will be a great way to round off my amazing/lucky aviation circle.
At one point I wan't sure about this idea as it took me quite a few flights to finally acclimatise to competition, as opposed to Gentlemen's, aerobatics!
I used some whiteboard 3mm tape to give me the angles - Mk 1 Version was way too big and Mk2 seems just about right.
Flew down with my friend Simon to Petrborough Conington to be given the seal of approval by BAeA judge Nick Buckenham and looking forward to Breighton in early May.
