Some pilots who I used to handicap air race with drew some great images on Sky Demon so I decided to do one as Jill challenged me!
I traced a poppy to plot waypoints on my PC using Sky Demon and used the ATZ as the poppy centre.
The 30 kt wind/turbulence/showers made it quite tricky but I couldnt have done it without Sky Demon - it worked so great on my phone (Galaxy Note 2) - fantastic software.
The ADS-B (see my clearance log) trace worked out great. Wirth hindsight I could have flown round the ATZ but a pretty good first attempt at ADS-B Sky Art.
Why the poppy? Well my Great Uncles George and Samual Ellis were both killed in World War One and is it is remberance week I thought it would be a great tribute to them.
