A lovely surprsie at the weekend was meeting Viv and Rich West who let me sit in their RV6 many years ago when I was researching the build and we also met them at Portimao in 2015 when they organised the RV meet there. They drove up from the Algarve to support the British contingent and it was great to see them again.
Monday all four British Sport Class racers transited as a 4 ship to Biarritz without event and after a refuel (without loosing my fuel cap this time!) split to our respective destinations.
Weather in the UK was poor so I stopped in Jersey for the night then returned home on the Tuesday.
On reflection a fabulous experience, met and flew with some great people ..... bring on the next ARC Race!
