Brief Description: Rear Seat In Flight Entertainment (IFE)
A "non-negotiable item" for Jill (co-funder of project) was to have In Flight Entertainment (IFE) in the back.
I tried building one into a headrest but it looked awful and had other issues (put that one down to experience!).
Wish I'd seen the method that I have adopted earlier as it would have saved me a few £ and it is so simple.
The photos say it all really. The bracket was some scrap 0.040" (I wanted it to have some flexibility in case of being hit) and this was bolted to the top angle on the front seatback. The tablet is a Freelander PG10 and a Samsung Galaxy 7" Tablet holder made by Brodit suits it fine (had to modify top right support tab to accomodate audio plug).
As the tablet does not have a high NIT display (well it was only £120!) I bought a 7" cloth hood from Amazon and a local sail maker cut out slots for the audio and usb charger plug. The hood is velcro'd to the tablet holder supports A neoprene luggage strap wrap covers the wires on the seatback weldment.
