We woke early and got to the airfield in the dark and the weather seemed to shine on us. We got airborne 15 minutes before sunrise and Barry and Ed found a hole in the sky 15 miles east that had CB's, fog in the valleys and a coastline begging to be photographed. To cap it all we even had a rainbow!

Yes we got lucky with the weather but it takes the best to capture results like this and, in my opinion, Ed is the best aviation photographer in the UK.
