One of the first priorities after having JBTR painted was to fly up to my Dad in Bridlington.
Jill and I landed at Grindale, a parachute strip just outside my home town of Bridlington, and we were met by my Dad, my brother Derrick and his partner Clare (and her daughter Megan) and my brother Neil and his wife Dimple. We were hosted by Dave Pinkney, who I last met 30 years ago, and I flew him the following day.
After flying Dave we discovered they had ran out of fuel so I flew my brother Neil to Eddsfield about 8 miles west and we refuelled and put her to bed for the night.
