Brief Description: cutting the canopy day 2 entry 1
today started bright and sunny, so i got the canopy out and into the sun again. rich came by at about 1000, but i didn't think it was warm enough yet, so we decided to give it another hour. i finished my house cleaning chores and had lunch, and then we got to work. started by cutting the sides to the clamp marks, which went quick. after dressing the edges we put it on the frame and there it was!! pretty cool. next i started figuring out where to trim next to get it to seat a little better. i had about 1 1/2 inches over the top of the roll bar. having read checkoway's log i knew this wasn't to bad. so i taped off for the forward corners to get them a little closer.
