today i decided to get ready for hanging the engine when it's done. this means the gear must go on. so i got the engine mount completely monted and bolted down. then i put on the vertical stab, no really sure why but it only took a few minutes. then i hoisted the front up and slipped the gear into place. set it down and rolled it out. looks very cool on its own legs. Pam said that the legs look too wimpy (she really called it something else, but i won't repeat it here), but i assured her it was very strong. that and all the landings will be very smooth.... i worked the rest of the day on bundling wires and securing them.
