well after a 2 week trip for work, i got back to work today. i did get the time to study the plans a lot while i was gone, so today went pretty well. i got the shims all manufactored and drilled into place. then i started on the rudder and brake pedals. i was able to get one side all riveted, and the other side is ready to rivet first thing tomorrow. i will paint the pedals before i actually install them, i'm just considering what color and texture i want to use. maybe some nonskid on top of a color.
