Brief Description:  big day

today Pam came thru in a big way. we knocked out the rivets on the skin of the center section in no time. Pam helped me flip the thing over and i got all the floor boards in. then Pam helped me flip it again and get it lined up. thats when the wrestling match began. after a few minutes i gave up and removed the baggage area floor boards. after that it was a little easier to see what was going on, and i got it together. so at the end of the day, i have a joined fuselage. it appears that everything lines up well too. yeah. it's good to back at work on the plane.

on another note, today i also did that thing that most builders do at some point...... i drilled a hole in my finger. nothing serious, and it was only a #40 drill bit, but it did hurt and i got blood all over the place ( to stubborn to quit to get a bandaid). i had hoped to not do this, but i kind of knew i would eventually get myself. i did it setting the edge distance on the side ribs. figures.....
